Muddy Seven

Enjoyed a week off after Peddars. I was sore for a couple of days afterwards but feeling pretty much ok now, a few niggles maybe. Went for a little jog at the weekend, nothing much. Nice to be out.

Today was beautiful and it was a lovely evening for running. We got back from work and headed straight out, not really knowing where we were heading or how far. I felt a bit stressed but that soon evaporated as the light began to fade and I settled into a rhythm.

We followed the road to Raughtonhead and on to Gaitsgill. Here we took a muddy path that brought us back out at Dalston. It was dark now and to avoid the road we took a shortcut across a field to Hawksdale Hall, from here we picked up the road to Lime House School, Rose Castle and home.

A muddy 7 miles.
